T1 release Meteor and Munchkin as five departures reshape VALORANT division

T1 have announced the departures of Meteor , Munchkin and DH, alongside head coach KDG and assistant coach CheongGak.

The changes leave stax , BuZz and iZu as the remaining players from the organisation’s 2026 roster.

Meteor ’s contract expires

Meteor had previously received permission to explore other opportunities and now leaves following the expiration of his contract.

He joined T1 after his successful 2024 season with Gen.G and helped the organisation win Masters Bangkok in 2025.

Munchkin reunited with Meteor at T1 ahead of the 2026 season. He initially served as The Team ’s in-game leader before later role changes SAW stax return to the starting lineup and resume calling duties.

DH, who had moved between the academy and main team, also departs after another period covering roles on the senior roster.

Coaching positions also open

KDG leaves after one season as head coach, while CheongGak’s departure ends another spell with the organisation.

T1 had not announced replacements in the initial report. The remaining trio gives the organisation an established Core around which to construct its next lineup and coaching staff.
