FUT criticize Riot over technical issues after 100 Thieves loss
FUT Esports players publicly criticized Riot Games over technical problems at VALORANT Champions 2026 following their 0:2 defeat to 100 Thieves .
The controversy centered on an incident early in Split when Doğan "xeus" Gözgen's mouse stopped working during a duel, contributing to a lost round.
Mouse failure sparks technical pause
The incident occurred in the second round of Split.
FUT had won the pistol and entered the anti-eco against a 100 Thieves force-buy when xeus was unable to fire during a duel with Jordan "vora" Pulwer.
A technical pause followed, but the result of the round remained unchanged.
Riot's ruling followed VCT regulations stating that rounds affected by interruptions must normally be played out unless one side had already secured an undisputed victory.
FUT players criticize tournament equipment
After the series, xeus said he had experienced mouse, audio and PC issues during the tournament.
KROSTALY also claimed that brief PC freezes had cost FUT multiple deaths and criticized the solutions being used for audio problems.
yetujey refused to take part in the post-match press conference, while s0pp also publicly voiced frustration with Riot.
The complaints follow earlier technical problems reported by players from Nongshim RedForce , Team Liquid and Karmine Corp during the opening days of Champions.
Riot previously said conductive materials in the stage desks had caused interference with peripherals and that a temporary fix had been implemented.
It has not been confirmed whether xeus' mouse failure was related to the same issue.
100 Thieves still advanced directly to the playoffs with the 2:0 victory, while FUT drop into the Group A decider.
