G2 sweep TYLOO in dominant Champions Shanghai opener

G2 Esports have started VALORANT Champions 2026 with a convincing 2:0 sweep over TYLOO in Group C.

The Americas representatives controlled both maps and allowed TYLOO only nine rounds across the entire series.

G2 took Lotus 13:6 before producing an even more dominant 13:3 victory on Sunset .

TYLOO remained competitive through the first half of Lotus.

The teams reached halftime level at 6:6, but the map completely changed after the side switch.

G2 won seven consecutive attacking rounds without allowing TYLOO onto the scoreboard, closing the map 13:6.

Sunset turns into rout

The second map offered TYLOO even fewer opportunities.

G2 quickly established control on Sunset and never allowed the Chinese champions to build meaningful momentum.

The Americas side closed the map 13:3 to complete the sweep.
