Riot Games may be preparing changes to how Average Combat Score is calculated in VALORANT ranked matches.

According to information discovered in the game files and shared by valohabercisi, Riot could begin rewarding effective ability usage alongside traditional combat performance.

The system would potentially recognize different actions depending on the agent being played.

Utility could contribute to ACS

Examples found in the game files include planting or defusing the Spike using Gekko's Wingman while enemies remain alive, detecting opponents with Sova's Owl Drone or Cypher's Spycam, healing teammates with skye , and absorbing damage using Harbor's Cove.

Additional points could reportedly be awarded for successfully blinding or stunning several enemies, securing kills after Jett's dash, using Chamber or Yoru teleports effectively, and eliminating enemies affected by abilities from agents including Fade, astra , and KAY/O.

Parameters have reportedly been found for 24 agents.

The revised system could arrive following an update next week, although Riot Games has not officially announced any ACS changes.
