Riot teases new VALORANT mode, weapon and Agent Mastery system

Riot Games has released a teaser showcasing several major additions coming to VALORANT, including a new game mode, an automatic rifle, and a redesigned agent progression system.

The short video featured fragments of gameplay from what appears to be the previously leaked ability-drafting mode.

One screen showed agent portraits alongside different ability icons, suggesting players will be able to combine skills rather than rely on a standard agent kit.

Riot also briefly revealed an unidentified automatic rifle.

Previous leaks have linked the weapon to the name Warden, with reports suggesting it will cost 2,900 credits, feature a 2x scope, and carry an 18-round magazine.

Those specifications had not been officially confirmed when the teaser was released.

Another section showed an updated SAGE progression page containing an agent level, experience bar, and unlockable rewards.

The interface appears to be part of Riot's upcoming Agent Mastery system, which will expand character-specific progression.

A metallic emblem was also shown at the end of the teaser, although Riot did not explain its purpose.

The community has speculated that it could be connected to a future ranked reward.
