Global Esports reportedly reaches final stage of VCT 2027 partner selection
Global Esports has reportedly reached the final stage of Riot Games' selection process for VCT 2027 partnership status.
According to ariVLRNT, the Indian organization is among the teams still being evaluated for a place in the next two-year partnership cycle.
Reaching the final stage does not guarantee Global Esports a position in the league.
The organization enters the process following its strongest competitive result to date.
Global Esports coming off first Pacific title
Global Esports recently won VCT Pacific Stage 2 after completing a 3:2 reverse sweep against Nongshim RedForce in the Grand Final.
The victory marked the organization's first regional VCT championship.
Under the 2027 competitive structure, each regional Kickoff will feature eight partner organizations and four teams entering through open qualification.
Riot is expected to assess organizations based on competitive results, community development, fan popularity, financial stability, and infrastructure.
Global Esports will also compete at VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, which runs from September 24 to October 18.
