Team Vitality qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026 after BBL Esports ' exit

Team Vitality have officially secured a place at VALORANT Champions 2026 through Championship Points following BBL Esports ' elimination from VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2.

The decisive result came when BBL Esports lost 0:2 to Fire Flux Esports in the second round of the lower bracket, ending their opportunity to add more points to their total.

How Vitality secured qualification

Team Vitality entered Stage 2 with 10 Championship Points. Four victories during the group stage added another four points, bringing their total to 14.

BBL Esports began the stage with seven points and also earned four more through group-stage victories, reaching 11. With the team now eliminated from the tournament, that total can no longer increase.

Team Liquid can no longer overtake Vitality

Team Liquid remain in contention after defeating Enterprise Esports and securing at least a fourth-place finish.

Their minimum Championship Points total now stands at 13:

• 6 points before Stage 2

• 3 points from group-stage victories

• 4 points for a fourth-place finish

If Liquid finish third, they will reach 14 points and draw level with Vitality. However, Vitality would remain ahead due to their 1:2 head-to-head record against Liquid this season.

If Team Liquid instead advance to the grand final, they will qualify directly for Champions and will no longer affect Vitality's Championship Points qualification.

Two EMEA teams now confirmed for Champions

FUT Esports have already secured their place at VALORANT Champions 2026, making Team Vitality the second confirmed representative from EMEA.

The region's remaining two slots will go to the Stage 2 finalists, or to the next highest teams in the Championship Points standings if one of the current ranking leaders reaches the final.
