Following Enterprise Esports ' 2-1 victory over Team Vitality in the upper-bracket quarterfinals of VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2, Denis-Stefan "kozzy" Aionitoaei discussed the team's performance in a post-match interview with Sheep Esports. The player also expressed confidence ahead of the upper-bracket semifinal against Karmine Corp , scheduled for August 21 at 17:00 CEST.

Enterprise recovered from a slow start
Enterprise Esports lost the opening map of the series but managed to reset and complete the comeback. kozzy compared the match to the team's previous encounter with Fnatic , when the roster also needed time to find its rhythm.

I feel amazing. It was a bit rough at the start. This game was similar to the one against Fnatic . We didn't show up during the first game, and then things started to get better from the second game.

Despite the difficult beginning, kozzy remained confident in his teammates and believed Enterprise Esports would turn the series around.

It wasn't that easy, as we expected. I expected us to start like that in the first game, but I had trust in my teammates. I had faith that we were going to win.

Adapting to the VCT stage
Enterprise Esports entered the playoffs after winning all three of their Play-In matches. However, kozzy expects every series in the main bracket to present a greater challenge.

I'm expecting every game in the playoffs to be harder than the ones in the Play-Ins.

Reflecting on the team's run, the player emphasized that Enterprise Esports continues to improve with every match.

I still think it was a good start, but we keep learning game by game and just focus on the games.

kozzy also admitted that he needed time to adjust to playing in front of a live audience. Once he became comfortable on stage, his individual performance improved.

I think I started a bit rough as well, but after getting used to the stage, the crowd and everything, it's fine for me.

The duelist was particularly confident on the second map, where he played Jett, one of his preferred agents.

On the second map, I expected us to win because we've been practicing the map, and I've been playing well on it. I think Jett is my comfortable pick.

Learning from experienced teammates
kozzy began competing in VCL only a few months before reaching the VCT stage. The player credited his rapid progress to consistent work while acknowledging that he still has much to learn.

The time passed really fast, but I've been working hard to be here. I am just happy about it.

According to kozzy, the experience of his teammates helps him handle the pressure of playing on stage.

I'm still a rookie. I still need to learn some things, but with what I've already learned, I have my basics at a high level. They teach me how not to shake on stage. Whenever I have a question, of course, I'll ask them.

Confidence ahead of Karmine Corp match
Enterprise Esports will next face Karmine Corp in the upper-bracket semifinal. While kozzy praised the individual level of the opposing roster, he predicted another victory for his team.

The team is looking good. They are all individually primed up. But I still think we're going to win tomorrow. We have the momentum and everything, and for sure, we're going to win.

The player also assessed Enterprise Esports ' chances of qualifying for VALORANT Champions at 80%, highlighting the team's ability to recover from difficult starts.

I think it's 80% possible. We're playing insane as a team. Even though we sometimes start badly, we can reset for the next games. I'm confident that we're better than every team here.
