Sentinels Qualify for Champions, MIBR Defeats 100 Thieves - VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2

On the second day of the third week of the group stage at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, two series of matches were played: Sentinels faced off against Cloud9 , and MIBR battled against 100 Thieves . Both encounters ended with the same score of 2:0. Thanks to their victory over Cloud9 , Sentinels not only qualified for the event's playoff stage but also secured a spot in the VALORANT Champions 2025 through VCT points.

Sentinels vs. Cloud9
Sentinels and Cloud9 kicked off the day with a series on the maps Lotus and Haven. On the first map, Sentinels came out on top with a score of (13:5), and on the second, they secured victory in a more competitive match (13:9). The series ended 2:0 in favor of Sentinels .

The best player of the match was Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey, who finished the match with a 283 ACS, which is 26% higher than his average over the past 6 months. 

MIBR vs. 100 Thieves
In the second series of the day, MIBR played against 100 Thieves . The series took place on the maps Icebox and Bind. The first map ended with a score of (13:10), and the second (14:12), both in favor of MIBR , who thus secured a 2:0 victory.

The MVP of the match was Garbiel “cortezia” Cortez. He posted a 272 ACS for the match — 34% higher than his average over the past 6 months. 

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 takes place from July 18 to August 31. During the event, 12 partner teams compete for a prize pool of $250,000 and 2 slots at Champions 2025.
