Cloud9 Defeats Evil Geniuses , MIBR Falls to Leviatán - VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2

During the third day of the second week of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, Leviatán defeated MIBR , and Cloud9 triumphed over Evil Geniuses . With this victory, Leviatán reached a 1:1 match record, while MIBR remains at 0:2 and is close to being eliminated before the playoff stage. Cloud9 is one match away from advancing to the playoffs, with a 2:0 record, while EG stands at 1:1.

Cloud9 vs. Evil Geniuses
In the second match of the day, Cloud9 faced off against Evil Geniuses . The series was played on the maps Lotus and Haven. Cloud9 won both matches: first on Lotus with a score of 13:7, and then they secured the series with a victory on Haven (13:10). The final result was 2:0 in favor of Cloud9 .

The most valuable player of the match was Francis “OXY” Hoang from Cloud9 . He achieved a high ACS of 252, which is 5% above his average for the past six months. 

Leviatán vs. MIBR
In the first match, Leviatán faced MIBR . The showdown took place on the maps Lotus and Sunset . Leviatán secured victory on both: first on Lotus (13:8), and then confidently closed out Sunset (13:3). The entire series ended with a 2:0 score in favor of the South American team.
