G2 to face Sentinels , 100 Thieves take on NRG in opening round of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 group stage

The full schedule and group draw for the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 group stage have been revealed, and fans can look forward to major clashes right from Week 1 — including G2 vs Sentinels and 100 Thieves vs NRG. The first round kicks off on July 18.

The 12 partnered teams in the Americas region have been divided into two groups — Alpha and Omega. Each team will play one best-of-three match against every other team in its group. All matches will be played over the span of a month.

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 will run from July 18 until the end of August in LAN format at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles. Twelve teams will compete for a $250,000 prize pool, two direct slots to Champions 2025, and VCT points — which will determine two additional teams advancing to the end-of-season World Championship.
