Schedule, format, and details of VCT Pacific Stage 2
The competitive season on the VCT Valorant stage is already halfway through, and the final stage of Stage 2 qualifiers, which will begin in July, awaits viewers. Today, the organizers published details about the upcoming VCT Pacific Stage 2 online, and below we will tell you about the event.
What is known about VCT Pacific Stage 2
VCT Pacific Stage 2 is the third and most important stage of the qualifiers, which will take place in the Pacific region. Twelve VCT Pacific partner teams will participate in the tournament, competing for a prize pool of $250,000, Pacific points, and two direct invitations to Valorant Champions 2025.
Tournament format
Like previous events, VCT Pacific Stage 2 will be divided into two formats: the group stage and the playoffs. During the group stage, the 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six participants. They will compete against each other in best-of-three matches, with the top teams earning a spot in the playoffs directly in the upper bracket semifinals. Teams that finish in 2nd and 3rd place will earn a spot in the first round of the upper bracket, while those that finish in the bottom four will compete in the first round of the lower bracket. The two teams from each group with the worst results will leave the tournament.
The playoff stage will be held in a double-elimination format. Teams will compete against each other for a place in the next stage, with the possibility of redeeming themselves in the lower bracket. The team that suffers two defeats will leave the tournament.
