FUT Esports to Face Apeks , Vitality to Meet GIANTX — EWC 2025: EMEA Qualifier

The seeding for the playoff stage of the Esports World Cup 2025 qualifier for the EMEA region has been determined.

In the opening matches of the tournament's upper bracket, FUT Esports will face Apeks , while Team Vitality will attempt to prove their superiority against GIANTX . We also have an intriguing matchup between NAVI and Gentle Mates , and Karmine Corp will challenge KOI . All quarterfinal matches will take place on May 16 at 16:00 UTC.

The participants of the lower bracket are still unknown: teams that lose in the first round will drop there and continue fighting for a spot in the tournament's second stage. The semifinalists of the upper bracket will receive an additional advantage—only two teams out of eight will advance to the second stage, where they will compete against teams that placed 3rd-4th in the VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 for two slots at EWC 2025.
