Gentle Mates has announced the signing of Maximilian "kamyk" Jan Rychlewski, a former player of Team Liquid . He will replace Robbie "RobbieBk" Burkamp, who has been moved to the bench. This information was shared on the organization's social media.

kamyk joined Liquid before the 2025 season and helped the team successfully qualify for the VCT 2025: Masters Bangkok. At the Masters Bangkok itself, he and his team finished just shy of the playoffs, securing 5th-6th place. Throughout 2024, kamyk played alongside RobbieBk for Joblife , where they reached 5th-6th place at the VCT 2024: Ascension EMEA. kamyk was also a player for Fnatic from January to October 2023. During his time there, he achieved second place in the VCT 2023: EMEA League.

The first match of the revamped Gentle Mates roster will take place on March 28. The team will face Liquid in the VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, which runs from March 26 to May 18.
