Rumors: A new Karambit knife might be coming to Valorant soon

Knives in Valorant, as in many other shooters, play a special role, allowing players to perform stylish tricks and spin them in their hands during rounds. Two knife types stand out in particular — the Balisong and the Karambit. Recently, rumors emerged that the latter might be added to Valorant in the near future.

Karambit Rumors
The first rumors appeared in early January when the well-known dataminer KINGDOM LABORATORIES shared on social media that game files contained references to a new knife. At that time, there were no details, but he provided a concept of how the upcoming knife might look.

However, yesterday the dataminer received updated information and shared it on social media. According to him, his sources revealed two possible release dates for the Karambit. The first is right after Masters Bangkok, where it might be announced. The second possibility is with patch 10.1 or 10.2, though the release dates for these patches are currently unknown. Regardless of the exact release date, the Karambit’s appearance in Valorant seems inevitable, and players are eagerly awaiting its addition to the in-game store.

Available Karambit Knives
It’s worth noting that while Karambit knives are quite popular, they remain rare, as developers don’t add them to the game regularly. As of today, there are only five Karambit knives available in Valorant, and only four of them can still be purchased. The Champions 2021 Karambit Melee Skin, dedicated to the first world championship, was part of a limited collection and is no longer available.
