Apeks hints at signing a player from VCT Americas for its Valorant roster

The organization Apeks , recently recognized as the first to sign a player from Game Changers, is now hinting at bringing a player from VCT Americas to complete their Valorant roster.

Apeks posted a cryptic tweet on their official X page, mentioning that many talents from VCT Americas have transitioned to the EMEA region this season. They posed a question to their audience: should they make another similar transfer? Currently, their Valorant roster consists of only four players, and the signing of a fifth is likely to be the final European transfer before the start of VCT 2025.

Rossy to Apeks ?
The most likely candidate hinted at by Apeks is Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo, who recently left Cloud9 and finds himself in a challenging situation. With most teams having finalized their rosters, Rossy risks missing the 2025 season. Apeks could provide a lifeline for Rossy, just as he could be a valuable asset for the team, given his extensive experience playing in two regions—Americas and Pacific—which are currently more competitive than EMEA.

Only one month remains until Apeks ’ first tournament in VCT EMEA. The VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff begins on January 15, where the team will compete against 11 other squads for two slots at Masters Bangkok.
