M8 TakaS to explore options for 2025

TakaS 's contract with Gentle Mates runs through the 2025 season, but he says the team has “allowed me to explore my options for 2025.”

The Frenchman started his Valorant career in 2020 and has played for several teams based in France , including  Karmine Corp  and  Team BDS . He joined Gentle Mates in January of 2023 and played a crucial role in the organization's run at a title-clinching Challengers League France  run and eventually EMEA Ascension as the team's duelist.

While he almost exclusively played Jett in 2023, his role would change slightly as the team entered VCT in 2024. Still on the duelist role, he would play different agents such as Yoru, Neon and Raze while the team also experimented with him on Gekko and Omen.

After losing two games to start EMEA Kickoff and then missing out on the EMEA Stage 1 playoffs by one game, they finished Stage 2 ranked tenth, just one spot above last-placed  KOI  on head-to-head record.
