Rumors: Oxygen Esports lays off all employees and ceases operations on the esports scene

According to sources from the portal, the organization's management plans to disband all its rosters, including those in Valorant.

The details of this story are still unknown, but some information appeared on Dexerto last night. Reports indicate that the organization is starting to lay off all its employees and players across all disciplines. The employees, who spoke with Dexerto's sources, revealed that they were left without any information and might even lose their severance pay.

If the information about Oxygen Esports is confirmed, the disbandment will affect all teams in every discipline, including Valorant. It's worth noting that the organization has three different rosters on the esports scene of the Riot shooter.  Oxygen Esports  showed good results in the Challengers league this season but did not make it to Ascension Americas. Oxygen Esports GC was disbanded in the winter of 2022, and  Oxygen Academy  was also closed in early 2022, with many players transitioning to the main roster.

So far, there is no confirmation of this information, and Dexerto has requested official comments from the organization itself. We can only wait for official comments and confirmation or denial of these rumors.
