I have been a staunch and dedicated fan of Counter Strike since I started playing, but I can no longer cope with this. All the hard work related to constantly raising my rank is cut short by cheaters, no matter how hard I work, I cannot outplay a cheater. Will I feel the same in Valorant? It seems to be a much more modern and well-maintained game than Counter Strike.

In the comments, most participants agreed with the author. They stated that Riot Games takes fighting cheaters seriously, as seen in League of Legends, which has had no cheater issues for 13-15 years.
