Profits from Champions 2024 collection to be distributed among all VCT participants

Riot Games introduced the Champions 2024 collection, which includes a Phantom skin and a katana. Until this year, developers shared half of the profits from the collection equally among all participants of the world championship. This year, they decided to change the approach and distribute the profits among all teams in the VCT franchise league.

After the collection's sales conclude, 50% of the profits will be divided into 60 equal parts. All 44 teams will receive one share, and the 16 participants of Valorant Champions 2024 will receive an additional share, meaning their total will be twice as much as those who did not qualify for the world championship. Recall that fans raised over $20 million in 2023 by purchasing the Champions 2023 collection.

Valorant Champions 2024 will take place from August 1 to 25, 2024, in seoul . Sixteen partner teams, four from each competitive region, will compete for a total prize pool of $2,250,000, as well as the title of world champion and the strongest team for the entire next year.
