Team Liquid ID beat Bigetron 3–1 to set up NAVI showdown for M8 qualification

Team Liquid ID defeated Bigetron by Vitality 3–1 to advance to the upper-bracket final of the MPL Indonesia Season 18 playoffs.

The regular-season leaders won the opening two games, conceded the third, and closed the series in game four to arrange a meeting with NAVI.

Liquid halt Bigetron’s comeback attempt

Bigetron entered the match after surviving a five-game elimination series against EVOS on the previous Day .

Liquid’s 2–0 start immediately placed them under pressure again. Bigetron extended the series by winning game three, but could not repeat the consecutive victories that had rescued their opening-round campaign.

Liquid won the fourth game to complete their first playoff series of the tournament, having received a bye into the second round.

An M8 berth awaits the upper-final winner

Liquid and NAVI will meet on November 6, with the winner advancing to the MPL Indonesia grand final and securing one of Indonesia’s two M8 World Championship places.

Bigetron drop into the lower-bracket semifinal against Alter Ego on the same Day . That match is an elimination series.

The winner will then face the upper-final loser in the lower-bracket final, where the remaining grand-final position and Indonesia’s second M8 qualification place will be decided.

Liquid’s victory therefore leaves four teams competing for the championship, with the top two regular-season seeds meeting on the upper side of the bracket.
