Bigetron recover from match point to eliminate EVOS in five-game playoff thriller

Bigetron by Vitality survived a 1–2 deficit to defeat EVOS 3–2 in the opening round of the MPL Indonesia Season 18 playoffs.

The victory kept Bigetron’s title campaign alive and arranged a second-round meeting with regular-season leaders Team Liquid ID. EVOS became the second team eliminated on the opening playoff Day , following ONIC.

EVOS move within one game of victory

Bigetron won the opener after turning the contest around during a fight for the third Lord. EMANN earned the game’s MVP award with six kills and nine assists.

EVOS answered through Erlan’s Lesley in game two, then moved ahead in the third game behind an aggressive performance from Alberttt .

That sequence placed EVOS on match point and left Bigetron needing consecutive victories to avoid elimination.

Nnael and Morenooo lead the response

Bigetron took a more assertive approach in game four. Nnael ’s Fanny helped apply pressure, while the team secured all three Turtles and used its objective ControL to build a growing advantage.

Morenooo’s Selena played an important role in the response. He earned the game’s MVP award with two kills and six assists, helping Bigetron force a deciding fifth game.

The decider remained competitive into the middle stages, but Bigetron found the crucial breakthrough during the fight for the second Lord. Winning the engagement and securing the objective gave them the opening to finish the series.

Morenooo receives series honours

Morenooo was named Player of the Match, with his contributions in the final two games central to Bigetron’s comeback.

The result carried Bigetron out of the single-elimination opening round and into the double-elimination bracket, preserving their opportunity to challenge for both the domestic title and an M8 qualification place.
