Team Vamos sweep Selangor Red Giants to extend winning run

Team Vamos defeated Selangor Red Giants 2–0 in MPL Malaysia Season 18, extending their winning run to five consecutive regular-season series.

The result reversed their previous league meeting, when Selangor had beaten Vamos by the same score, and continued a productive stretch against several of Malaysia’s leading teams.

Team Vamos 2–0 Selangor Red Giants

Vamos completed the best-of-three without dropping a game, adding Selangor to a sequence of victories over RRQ Tora , Bigetron MY by VIT, Invictus Gaming and Team Flash .

Across those five series, Vamos compiled a 10–2 game record. Three of the victories were sweeps, while RRQ Tora and Invictus each took them to a deciding game.

A reversal of their earlier meeting

Selangor had won the first regular-season encounter 2–0 on September 5. Vamos’ return-leg victory therefore split the teams’ league series and demonstrated a substantial improvement from that earlier matchup.

For Selangor, the defeat followed a 2–0 victory over Team Flash . They were scheduled to return against Invictus Gaming on October 17, while Vamos’ next fixture was against AC Esports on October 18.

The result added another significant win to Vamos’ late-season campaign as the teams continued competing for playoff positioning.
