MPL Philippines Season 18 playoffs move to PhilSports Arena

The MPL Philippines Season 18 playoffs will be held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City from October 21–25, with the season's final stage also determining the Philippines' two representatives for the M8 World Championship.

Around 4,000 seats will be available because of the space required for the stage and production setup.

The Superfan City Festival will also return outside the venue with fan activities and merchandise tied to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's 10th anniversary.

MOONTON Games Philippines esports head of marketing Jane Dela Cruz said the decision to use PhilSports reflects the continued growth of both MLBB and MPL Philippines rather than simply an attempt to demonstrate that esports can fill an arena.

Four teams already qualified

Team Falcons PH , Team Liquid PH, ONIC Philippines and Aurora Gaming PH have already secured playoff berths.

Team Falcons PH lead the standings at 9–1 after defeating ONIC Philippines 2–1 and sweeping Aurora Gaming PH 2–0 during Week 6.

Team Liquid PH sit second at 8–2, followed by ONIC at 7–3 and Aurora at 6–5.

Smart Omega remain fifth at 5–6, while TNC Pro Team are 4–7 and AP.Bren remain in contention at 3–8. Twisted Minds PH are still winless at 0–10.

The Season 18 playoffs will determine both the MPL Philippines champion and the region's two representatives at the M8 World Championship in Istanbul, Türkiye, in January 2027.
