MLBB Season 42 rank reset begins with Starward Decade

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang players have entered a new ranked climb following the launch of Season 42: Starward Decade.

The new season began on September 16 alongside the game's major 10th anniversary update, bringing the conclusion of Season 41 and the accompanying seasonal rank reset.

Players will begin Season 42 below the rank at which they finished the previous season.

Permanent account progress remains intact

The seasonal reset only affects Ranked placement and seasonal progression.

Heroes, skins, cosmetics, and other permanent account content remain unaffected.

Players who finished Season 41 at higher ranks will be repositioned lower on the Ranked ladder and required to climb again during Season 42.

The reset accompanies one of MLBB's largest anniversary updates, which introduced hero reworks, balance adjustments, map changes, interface improvements, and the beginning of the Starward Decade season.

Season 42 will continue the game's 10th anniversary celebrations throughout the coming months.
