After Fnatic ONIC or Fnatic ONIC became the MPL ID champions consecutively since the 10th season (4 times), the biggest professional Mobile Legends tournament in Indonesia began to get a negative stigma as a "farmer's league".

This term is quite familiarly used in football to refer to a league such as Ligue 1, Bundesliga, etc. where the league winner is almost the same every year so it is easy to guess what the ending will be like.

One of the members of the Fnatic ONIC coaching team, Adi, explained to RevivaLTV his opinion regarding the public's perception that MPL ID is a "farmer's league" after the match against BTR today (08/31/2024).

According to him, Fnatic ONIC 's dominance will actually make other teams want to improve, and in fact, one team that appears prominent in one league also occurs in MPL PH and is fine.

AP Bren continues to dominate the top flight, often appearing in finals, then becoming representatives in international events, but all parties do not have a problem with this.

" Actually, if I always look at it from the perspective of other teams, like the farmer's league, Fnatic ONIC dominates, this actually makes other teams improve, do extra, I look at MPL PH where AP Bren dominates, always making it to the final," explained Adi.

He feels that people talk about MPL ID as a "farmer's league" for no other reason than because it is currently trending, the former RRQ coach emphasized once again that other teams in Indonesia have developed and will become strong competitors this season.

Adi is confident that MPL ID S14 will be the moment for all teams to become strong, he even said that this league will soon move towards a "super" condition which means that the gap in strength between teams will not be much different.

"This is because Indonesia is currently trending, that's why it's busy, I always say there are no negative statements about it, I always say from the perspective of other teams to improve, I see from last season many teams are improving, this season is "super", all teams are competing," he continued.

Actually, the "farmer league" is not entirely bad, if you look at it again, Fnatic ONIC is always the champion, but the ones who accompany them in the final are almost always different, what does that mean? This means that other teams are also improving.

Of course the public wants a new champion, but what can be said, if Fnatic ONIC is still the strongest, then they are the kings in that season, other teams must try harder to surpass them.
