Meet Aurora Esports, the Serbian Team That Bought the EVOS Minana Slot for MPL PH S14

Recently, EVOS Minana released ownership of the slot for MPL PH S14, after previously collaborating with Nexplay, to create the White Tiger team headquarters in the Philippines.

Therefore, there is one empty slot left which has been filled by a new team based in Serbia, Europe, with a name similar to one of the mage-type Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes.

The highest league of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines, MPL PH which has entered season 14 has a new team ready to enliven and fight with the old players. Who is the team?

Aurora Esports is a team that has just created their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division, and made their debut in the Philippines' highest competitive MLBB scene, MPL PH.

Reasons for EVOS and Minana to Split Partnership, Sell MPL PH S14 Slots

Reported from the official EVOS Esports Instagram on July 8, 2024, Minana and the Macan Putih team ended their collaboration because EVOS preferred to develop the competitive esports scene in Indonesia only.

"EVOS has decided to end its collaboration with Minana in the MLBB MPL Philippines scene. This decision was taken because EVOS is currently focusing on the esports scene in Indonesia," the caption in the post read.

As of July 16, 2024, the empty slot left by EVOS Minana has now been filled by Aurora Esports.

So, who is Aurora Esports who will fill the vacant EVOS Minana slot in MPL PH Season 14?

Aurora Esports is an esports team from Serbia that has various game divisions.

Primarily, they are active in the competitive scenes of DOTA 2, Counter Strike 2, and Apex Legends.

Now, they are expanding their wings to the Southeast Asia region by forming the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division, through the slot vacated by EVOS Minana in MPL Philippines.

A big move was also made by Aurora, by recruiting OhMyV33NUS and also Wise at the same time.

The former Blacklist International players were recruited for a reason. They will later strengthen Aurora's roster which has not been officially announced to the public.

The Aurora Esports roster is planned to be revealed along with the other MPL PH S14 team rosters on July 27, 2024 at PARQAL Parañaque, Metro Manila.
