Chronology of SYS and Selangor Red Giants Dispute at MSC 2024
There has been an event that has surprised the world's Mobile Legends public, a re-draft or pick has occurred at MSC 2024 Group Stage Day 1 Match 4 SYS Vs Selangor Red Giants Game 1.
If you are quite active on social media, you must know that the Malaysian public is voicing their dissatisfaction with the decision taken by MSC 2024 on July 3, 2024.
Where their champion, Selangor Red Giants , who represented Malaysia at MSC 2024, had to let their opponent, SYS, re-draft their roaming hero.
Not to mention there was another incident, namely a pause in the middle of the match requested by SYS for unclear reasons, both of which were considered to have prevented Selangor Red Giants from getting full points.
Just in Ban Stage, SYS Requests Redraft Against Selangor Red Giants at MSC 2024
When entering the "ban" phase in game 1 against Selangor Red Giants , SYS suddenly asked for a re-draft, after further investigation it turned out that this was due to the strangeness of the hero they chose at that time.
This is also a problem, but it is not highlighted so much considering that the next one is considered bigger and has an impact on the course of the SYS vs Selangor Red Giants match.

SYS surprised the MSC 2024 audience by presenting a unique pick when fighting Selangor Red Giants in the last match on the first day, they took Yu Zhong and Lapu-Lapu when they needed roam and exp .
Selangor Red Giants themselves did not really respond to this and continued with their plan, the lack of a midlaner made them finally take Kagura.
At first, everything seemed normal, but right after entering the match, the SYS team unanimously asked for a "surrender" and wanted to do a re-pick, there was something wrong with their last 2 heroes , and they blamed a "bug".

After a long break, a controversial decision was made where the game would be replayed and a redraft for the SYS roamer was allowed.
The public was angry about this because apart from redraft being a strange thing, Selangor Red Giants was also not allowed to do it, even though they should have been allowed to replace their midlaner who was the last to leave.
What happened yesterday was like that, Selangor Red Giants kept the same lineup, while SYS replaced Lapu-Lapu with Edith and the match began.
SYS Strange Pause

At first the match went normally, until one moment, it could be said that Selangor Red Giants was controlling the match and SYS asked for a pause.
The reason for asking for this is considered strange, because it seems like SYS only wants to use "handwarmers" which are not a proper need for the public.
The match changed a little and in the end SYS was able to outperform Selangor Red Giants and win the first point.
After that the match continued to game 2 where this time there were no problems and Selangor Red Giants was able to win the match and make the points equal.

As reported by Malaysian media, MyGameOn, Selangor Red Giants coach, Arcadia said that he actually accepted the 1-1 draw.
However, he and his team asked MSC for clarification regarding evidence that this was the result of a "bug", not human error that should have forced SYS to continue the match.
Unfortunately, MSC 2024 was initially reluctant to provide this evidence for some reason, and Selangor Red Giants will clearly continue to wait for this clear evidence.

MSC 2024 immediately made an official statement that they were investigating this issue, they asked the public not to speculate strangely while this operation was still ongoing.
Clearly this is a very unfortunate incident to have happened, both for SYS, Selangor Red Giants , and MSC itself, hopefully the right solution will be present soon.
