AP Reveals RRQ Coach and Player Selection Criteria for MPL ID S14

It is actually quite clear that RRQ will be purchasing new players and coaches, considering that they just released Brusko , Vren, and Zaya some time ago.

Through a video upload on his personal YouTube channel on July 3, 2024, RRQ AP explained that he and the team wanted a coach who had a champion mentality with a careful way of thinking.

In addition, good communication skills towards all team instruments are also an aspect that RRQ AP wants, they do not want the lack of communication like this season to happen again.

He realized that language and culture would certainly be obstacles, but he would certainly overcome these, the point is that the coach who was brought in was expected to be able to unite the team.

"We want a coach who has an efficient and straightforward mentality and way of thinking, good communication, I emphasize that last season the communication was not good, between players, coaches, management was not good, this season, I hope to be able to provide a solution or be better than the previous season, language problems and cultural problems are one of the things, the communication is not working well, I hope that what is working now, can protect and embrace," explained AP.

RRQ AP also wants an experience aspect, such as a good record of results, especially winning, which will be highly considered, considering that RRQ will later be filled with talented players.

"The third one has a good track record, I have several choices, and all of them have a good track record, because you can't just pick any one, it's also a hassle, for a team as tough as RRQ, because their players are not ordinary players, their supporters especially, they get a lot of challenges, so the coach really has to be ready," continued AP.

Through the same video, RRQ AP also explained the criteria for the players they were looking for, there were several aspects that he explained in quite detail.

RRQ AP said that he could not yet mention which players with what roles he would choose, this was because his team was still trying to find the right formula.

In essence, he wants players who behave well on and off the pitch, and just like a coach, he wants someone who has experience and good skills.
