RRQ Kaito is rumored to not be a full PH representative at IESF 2024
An epic battle was presented in the final round of the Philippine national selection for IESF 2024 on June 2 2024, producing RRQ Kaito as the winner, but it wasn't that big of a deal.
RRQ Kaito is a branch of the RRQ team in the Philippines, they took part in MDL PH Season 3 and finally came out as champions.
They also finally took part in the national selection to represent their country at the IESF 2024 event, where they managed to beat MPL teams including Falcons AP Bren in the final.
Unfortunately, their victory did not make RRQ Kaito the representative of the Philippines because Sibol (the Philippine esports management organization) changed its policy to use the "All Star" national team system, aka consisting of various teams.

This change in policy invited sympathy from various parties from both the Philippines and abroad, including EVOS StrateG from Indonesia.
The coach from EVOS also expressed sympathy for RRQ Kaito who had struggled to win the national selection, but the format used to determine the team was instead the "All Star" concept.
Which means that their efforts to win will not make all their players and them representatives of the Philippines, there will be other players who can also join the team.
StrateG itself said that RRQ Kaito 's journey against the MPL teams with great struggle was like being wasted by Sibol or the Philippines.
StrateG also believes that such a policy regarding the formation of a national team will actually make it difficult for the country itself, where again the chemistry between the players has to be built from scratch.
Making this decision was also considered quite forced for StrateG, it also felt like it was sudden, and again this is something that rarely happens in Mobile Legends in the context of the national team.
" It's really a shame, I'm tired of winning against AP Bren's Falcons, in the end it's ruined, if they were combined (not from 1 team) it would be more difficult, right? It's funny how the rules are like that, it's a pity that RRQ was phped (giving false hope) "I was tired of winning but instead I was made an All Star ," said StrateG.
For example, in Indonesia itself, the concept of selecting the national team uses selection in the form of a tournament, where the winning team will represent Indonesia as a whole.
In the past, Indonesia used the "All Star" system too, but it didn't work well so PBESI (Indonesian esports management organization) replaced it.
The Philippines also actually uses a similar concept, who knows why they changed it, even though the IESF 2024 event is also not an easy event.
