FURIA defeated Cloud9 3–1 in the Worlds 2026 Play-In lower-bracket semifinal, making the North American side the first team eliminated from the tournament.
Cloud9 won the opening game, but FURIA responded with three consecutive victories to keep their Swiss Stage qualification hopes alive.
Cloud9 took Game 1 with a 19–10 kill score. FURIA levelled the series in Game 2, finishing 12–9 in kills, before winning the third game 14–6.
The Brazilian team completed the comeback in Game 4 with a 16–7 kill score, ending Cloud9 ’s campaign after two series defeats.
MVK rematch awaits
The result advanced FURIA to a lower-bracket final against MVK Esports , who had swept them in their opening match.
The winner of that rematch would face Karmine Corp for the Play-In’s sole Swiss Stage qualification place.
