Busio explains Karmine Corp ’s decisive backdoor against MVK

Karmine Corp support Busio credited his team’s use of a Teleport advantage for the backdoor that completed their 3–0 victory over MVK Esports at Worlds 2026.

Speaking after the Play-In upper-bracket final, Busio described the decision as the “Yike tactic.”

Finding the route to the Nexus

Busio explained that KC faced a difficult situation around Baron in the third game before identifying an opportunity to attack the opposing base directly. The backdoor ended the game and secured their place in the Play-In final.

A calmer approach

The support also highlighted an improved mental approach compared with KC’s opening series against Cloud9 . He said the team had focused on staying relaxed even when situations became difficult.

With the qualifying final ahead, KC’s preparation would involve reviewing their own performances and studying their next opponent.
