League patch 26.20 locks in Worlds 2026 balance changes
Riot Games has released the full notes for League of Legends patch 26.20, the patch that will be used for Worlds 2026.
The update includes several balance changes aimed directly at the professional meta ahead of the season's biggest tournament.
Worlds-focused champion changes
Ambessa, Ashe, K'Sante and Yunara are among the champions receiving nerfs.
Kennen, Kindred and several less prominent competitive picks have been buffed as Riot looks to adjust the Worlds meta before the tournament begins.
Yunara's early scaling has been reduced, with both the passive and active on-hit damage from Spirit Growth lowered.
K'Sante also receives changes as part of Riot's effort to address champions expected to have significant professional presence.
Hextech Rocketbelt has been adjusted again, with Riot attempting to make the item less effective as an escape tool while strengthening its offensive purpose.
Replay access restricted
Patch 26.20 also changes how League replays can be accessed.
Players will only be able to download replays of matches in which they participated.
Third-party applications and websites will no longer be able to download other players' replays, with Riot citing security concerns and exploits used by cheat developers.
The restriction could also affect some third-party analytical workflows around high-level and professional games.
Patch 26.20 will be the competitive patch for Worlds 2026.
