Invictus Gaming sweep LGD 3-0 to continue LPL lower-bracket run
Invictus Gaming continued their remarkable LPL 2026 Split 3 lower-bracket run by sweeping LGD Gaming 3:0.
The victory sends IG into the lower-bracket final against Anyone's Legend and guarantees the team at least a place in the upper round of the Worlds Regional Qualifier if they fail to win the split outright.
Invictus Gaming 3:0 LGD Gaming
Invictus Gaming immediately took control of the series.
Game 1 ended 20:4 in IG's favor after approximately 26 minutes, with JiaQi producing another strong performance from the bot lane.
The second game was more competitive.
LGD managed 10 kills, but Invictus Gaming remained ahead in the decisive fights and closed the map 16:10.
Game 3 gave LGD their best opportunity to extend the series.
The map became significantly more volatile, with LGD finding moments of control and securing Baron pressure.
IG nevertheless stayed composed.
A series of late-game fights eventually swung the map back in their favor, and Invictus Gaming completed the sweep.
JiaQi continues breakout playoff run
JiaQi again emerged as one of IG's most important players.
He finished Game 1 with a major carry performance and recorded 10 kills on Aphelios during another strong showing later in the series.
Meiko also had a significant impact, particularly on Thresh, repeatedly disrupting LGD's attempts to engage.
Wei was named Player of the Match for the series.
IG's lower-bracket run continues
Invictus Gaming have now won four consecutive playoff series.
Their run began with a 3:0 sweep over ThunderTalk Gaming before they survived Top Esports 3:2 and defeated Team WE 3:1.
The 3:0 victory over LGD now moves them one series away from the LPL grand final.
Anyone's Legend await in the lower-bracket final.
Should IG win, they will earn another meeting with Bilibili Gaming for the Split 3 championship and China's first seed at Worlds.
