Demacia Cup Global Invitational to bring major-region teams together before Worlds

The Demacia Cup Global Invitational will take place in China from October 3 to 17, bringing together 12 teams from the LCK, LPL , LEC, LCS, LCP, and CBLOL ahead of Worlds 2026.

The tournament will feature the No. 5 , 6 , and S3v3n Esports seeds from the LCK and LPL , the No. 4 and 5 seeds from the LEC and LCS, and the No. 4 seeds from the LCP and CBLOL.

Worlds-style format

The group stage will run online from October 3 to 8, beginning with a best-of-one Swiss stage before shifting to best-of-three series.

The knockout stage starts on October 12, with the quarterfinals, semifinals, and grand final all played as best-of-fives at JD Gaming ’s home venue in Beijing.

Coach communication will also be permitted during the offline stage, with three 45-second communication windows available during each best-of-five.

The tournament winner will receive ¥600,000, while the runner-up will earn ¥400,000.
