Team Secret Whales have qualified for the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational and the Esports World Cup 2026 after defeating Deep Cross Gaming 3-1 in LCP 2026 Split 2.
The series ended after four games, with Team Secret Whales winning Games 1, 3 and 4.
Team Secret Whales opened the match with a 24-15 win in Game 1, but Deep Cross Gaming responded with a dominant 24-7 victory in Game 2 to tie the series.
After that, Team Secret Whales took control. They won Game 3 with a 36-7 score before closing out the match with a 28-15 victory in Game 4.
Hoàng “Eddie” Công Nghĩa was named MVP of the series. He finished with average stats of 7.4 kills, 2.2 deaths and 12.3 assists, along with 84% kill participation, 30K damage and 16K gold.
LCP 2026 Split 2 runs from May 23 to June 7 and features the top six teams from Split 2. The playoffs use a double-elimination format starting from Round 2, with the first and second seeds receiving a bye. The third to sixth seeds begin in Round 1 and face elimination if they lose.
All matches are played in a best-of-five format with Hard Fearless Draft, where each champion can only be picked once by either team during a series. The tournament also allows Coach Comms, while the winner qualifies for both MSI 2026 and the Esports World Cup 2026.
