This information was shared on the official NRG League account on X. In the statement, the organization highlighted its plans to become part of the tier-2 ecosystem in North America and eventually aim for a return to the LCS through a guest slot.
It was also mentioned that thanks to a partnership with SIDO, the club has already signed its main roster and is currently holding tryouts to fill the remaining positions. Meanwhile, NRG confirmed that the team is still searching for a head coach responsible for developing young players and shaping the team structure.
In a separate post on X, the organization announced the opening of applications for the head coach position for their League of Legends roster. The application form is available via a link shared on the club's social media.
Previously, NRG left the LCS at the end of 2024 amidst a major restructuring of the League of Legends esports scene initiated by Riot Games. During its time in the league, the organization achieved a victory in the LCS 2023 Summer Split and reached the quarterfinals of Worlds 2023, where NRG was the sole representative from the Western region in the playoffs stage.
