T1 's Oner Expresses Desire to Stay Long-Term with T1 after KeSPA Cup Match

The jungler for  T1 , Moon "Oner" Hyeon-joon, shared in an OSEN interview on December 7th his desire to become a franchise player for the organization and spend many years with the team.

He also discussed the team's hectic schedule, the developed chemistry with newcomer Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan, and his ambition to join the South Korean national team for the upcoming Asian Games.

Fatigue from traveling and the start at KeSPA Cup

In recent weeks, T1 barely had time to return home: the team participated in the Red Bull League of Its Own show event in Munich, then flew to Saudi Arabia for sponsor events, and after that returned to Korea for the KeSPA Cup.

I'm not even fully adjusted to the jet lag yet, so I was a bit nervous before the match.

"I want to stay with T1 for a long time": Oner's plans

In the interview, the player reiterated his dream to spend his career with T1 — the organization he has been with since 2020 — and eventually become its key franchise talent.

At 22 , Oner is already a three-time world champion (2023, 2024, and 2025) and a titleholder of LCK Spring 2022.

While Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok remains the eternal face of the club and the entire game, among the new generation of talents, Oner is the last one still representing T1 : Choi "Zeus" Woo-je and Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong have moved to  Hanwha Life Esports  this year.

Asian Games: the dream to wear the national jersey

Of course, I want to participate. Representing the country with the emblem on my chest is a huge honor.

The player also recalled past Asian Games, where he couldn't compete as Korea was represented by Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok at the time.

It's worth noting that winning at the Asian Games not only brings international prestige to Korean esports players but also grants exemption from mandatory military service. In the previous tournament, the country was represented by Zeus, Kanavi, Faker, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon, Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk, and Ryu "Keria" Min-seok.
