T1 Team of the Year and Chovy Player of the Year at League Awards 2025

On November 28, the League Awards 2025 concluded, recognizing the best players and teams of the season.

The main awards were claimed by  Chovy  from  Generation Gaming  and the team  T1 , who won their third consecutive world championship. Other awardees included  Keria ,  Caps ,  Inspired ,  Doggo , and others.

Main Awards

In the "Player of the Year" category, the winner was Generation Gaming 's mid-laner Chovy —despite his team not winning the world championship, he showcased a stable and impressive individual performance throughout the season. T1 was recognized as the "Team of the Year," triumphantly winning Worlds 2025—marking their third consecutive victory at world championships, a feat no other team has achieved.

The "Moment of the Year" was awarded to T1 's third consecutive world championship win—a historic achievement previously unmatched in the history of League of Legends. The "Play of the Year" went to Keria 's play on Neeko in a match against Anyone's Legend —an impressive episode that became one of the most memorable moments of the tournament.

The "Rookie of the Year" was  hongQ  from CFO—his consistent play in the PCS allowed him to quickly rise to the level of the region's top players.

  • LCK ( Korea ) —  KT Rolster   Bdd
  • LPL ( China ) —  Anyone's Legend   Tarzan
  • LEC (Europe) — G2 Esports   Caps

Caedrel Fulfilled His Bet After T1 's Victory

Coach and streamer Marc "Caedrel" Lamont fulfilled his promise and shaved his head live on stream. He had previously stated that he would shave if T1 won Worlds 2025—something he doubted. After the team's triumph, Caedrel acknowledged his loss and honored the bet.

The League Awards 2025 wrapped up an eventful competitive year. The awards reflected both T1 's dominance and the contributions of players from different regions, as well as the importance of the community and content surrounding the game. Chovy and T1 became key figures of the season, solidifying their positions in the history of League of Legends.
