Homme returns to South Korea after an extensive coaching career in China . From 2018 to 2023, he led JD Gaming , with whom he won four LPL titles. In 2023, the team under his guidance took both Chinese splits and MSI, but stopped in the semifinals of Worlds 2023, losing to T1 . Kanavi was part of JDG throughout this period.
This is Homme's second experience working in the LCK — he previously coached Samsung White in 2014. He and Kanavi spent four seasons together, ending the international year with a defeat to T1 three times. Now they will work together again, but under the banner of Hanwha Life Esports .
Mowgli, who extended his contract with the organization, joined HLE's staff in 2023. The former professional player competed for Afreeca Freecs and Team Vitality , and began his coaching career in 2022 at the age of 23. He will now continue working with the new head coach and the strengthened lineup.
