Scout began his career with SKT T1 in 2015 as a substitute, serving as the third mid laner on the roster and playing only in the off-season KeSPA Cup. In March 2016, he transferred to EDward Gaming , where he spent seven years, became a world champion, and was one of the most consistent mid laners in the LPL. Scout later played for LNG Esports and JD Gaming , and now, for the first time in ten years, he returns to his home region.
During the regular season, fans will finally witness the much-anticipated matchup between Scout and faker —for the first time within the LCK, rather than on international stages. Along with signing Scout, the organization confirmed several other personnel decisions. The team's head coach will be DanDy , who previously worked with Hanwha Life Esports . Joining the roster are jungler Sponge and bot laner Taeyoon . These changes create one of Nongshim RedForce 's most promising lineups in recent years.
Nongshim RedForce is actively rebuilding its roster following unsuccessful seasons in the LCK. DanDy 's acquisition was one of the key coaching transfers of the off-season, and the signing of Taeyoon and Sponge is seen as a move toward stability in the bottom lane. The revamped lineup may contend for a playoff spot in the LCK.
