T1 Announces Gumayusi's Departure — Peyz May Join the Team

One of the most notable roster changes in the League of Legends offseason has occurred: ADC Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeon has left  T1  after seven years with the club, marking the end of the legendary ZOFGK lineup era.

According to insiders, his replacement will be the 19-year-old Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan—a three-time LCK champion and MSI winner—who is ready to return to Korea after a year in the LPL .

T1 and Gumayusi: The End of a Seven-Year Chapter

The organization officially announced Gumayusi's departure. Over his seven-year career at T1 , the marksman secured three consecutive World Championship titles, won the LCK Spring 2022, and established himself as one of the strongest ADCs in history.

However, the 2025 season was fraught with conflicts. Early in the year, the coaching staff temporarily benched Gumayusi, giving the spot to rookie Shin "Smash" Geum-jae. He managed to return to the starting lineup only after the intervention of T1 CEO Joe Marsh. Following this, the marksman once again reached top form, becoming the MVP of the Worlds 2025 final.

With his departure, only three members of the legendary ZOFGK lineup remain at T1 : Moon "Oner" Hyeon-joon, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, and Ryu "Keria" Min-seok. Faker's contract runs until 2029, while Oner and Keria are tied to the club until 2026.

Peyz to Join T1 and Become the Team's New Marksman

According to Sheep Esports, Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan has reached a verbal agreement with T1 and will replace Gumayusi in the bottom lane. T1 has the opportunity to bring in one of the most talented players of the new generation.

By the age of 19, Peyz had won three LCK titles, became an MSI champion, received the Rookie of the Year award in 2023, was twice named to the LCK 1st All-Pro Team, and set a record for the number of kills in a single international match—28 kills at MSI 2024.

The 2025 season was unstable for him: after leaving  Generation Gaming , he played for  JD Gaming  in the LPL , where the team faced a series of roster and coaching changes. Despite some strong performances, JDG failed to qualify for Worlds.

Joining T1 will give Peyz the chance to return to his home league and team up with Keria—one of the best supports in the world. This bot lane duo could become the most dominant on the global stage.

T1 concluded the 2025 season with their third consecutive Worlds victory—the club's sixth championship title in history. The team is already undergoing significant roster changes: in 2024, top laner Choi "Zeus" Woo-jae left the organization, and now T1 is parting ways with Gumayusi.

Potential T1 Roster for 2026:

  • Moon "Oner" Hyeon-joon
  • Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok
  • Ryu "Keria" Min-seok
  • Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon
  • Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan
