G2 Esports Defeated Fnatic , While Karmine Corp Outshined KOI - Results of the LEC Winter Game Day

On February 17, as part of the playoffs of LEC Winter 2025, two upper bracket semifinal matches took place. G2 Esports confidently defeated Fnatic , while Karmine Corp left no chances for KOI .

On the first map, G2 displayed excellent team play and managed to overcome their opponent in 45 minutes. The match concluded with a score of 33:22, with the main hero for G2 being Hans Sama on Ezreal, who made a significant contribution to his team's victory.

The second map was played at a quicker pace — G2 closed the series in 29 minutes. Fnatic tried to put up a fight, but G2 dominated from the start, finishing the map with a score of 18:8. In this match, Caps particularly stood out on Azir, displaying confident play and making a huge impact in team fights.

On the first map, KC executed a perfect defensive strategy, giving their opponent no chances. The final score was 12:1, as KOI couldn't find their rhythm and lost in 26 minutes. The key player in the match was Vladi on Taliyah, who controlled the battle and dealt crucial damage.

The second map lasted a bit longer — 30 minutes, but once again, KC dominated across all metrics and finished the game with a score of 15:4. Here, Targamas excelled on Renata Glasc, exerting massive pressure on the map and participating in all the kills.

LEC Winter 2025 is conducted in a regular season and playoff format with 10 teams participating. Throughout the competition, only the top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs to determine the strongest participant. The tournament winner will earn a spot at First Stand 2025 and €40,000.
