Q: Dplus KIA is your former team; does that influence your choice of team?
BeryL : Emotionally, it doesn't seem to have any impact. The career of a professional player is very short and can suddenly disappear at any time, so I think it's most important to think rationally about how to end my career, rather than letting emotions influence my decision.
Q: Will the cooperation with Aiming go smoothly?
BeryL : The cooperation between mid and jungle is very important, but the bot lane duo is also crucial, as it involves two people playing together, and cooperation is vital. By playing together, I can understand Aiming 's style and adjust our cooperation through communication, which is part of teamwork. Although we haven't been able to conduct formal scrims yet, during practice games, the support has comfortable matchups, and the ADC also has their own comfortable matchups, adjusting while chatting; this is what professionalism and teamwork require.
Q: Together teasing ShowMaker , Lucid and BeryL ?
BeryL : This year, because I went to Vietnam for an event, I had the opportunity to go with Lucid , and during that time I noticed he really enjoys teasing Xu Xiu. Although they are 5 years apart, they have a good relationship, possibly because of his very nice personality. Now that I'm older, my solo queue rank was always lower than Xu Xiu's, but recently I've been lucky and won quite a few games, so I've caught up to his rank, jokingly asking him: "Why has your rank dropped?" It's also a joke between us.
Q: What are your thoughts on the shortage of support players?
BeryL : Actually, I think players from other roles can also perform well as supports. Because I believe the support position mainly depends on how the team cooperates, and the outcome is often determined by team collaboration, which can be adjusted through the team's situation and communication. In fact, as long as there is data support like hero matchups, the support position can be fully competent. The reason the support position is less popular is that fewer people play it.
Q: What do you think makes an excellent support player?
BeryL : I think the most important thing as a support is to consider what your ultimate role is. After all, the support is the position that consumes the least resources, and if you can deeply understand your role, you can perform better.
