Q: This is your second consecutive year advancing to Worlds, which is an impressive achievement for a newcomer. How do you feel about your competitive state this year? How is your current form?
Peyz : I am very excited to return to Worlds this time, and it feels great. I think my current form is quite good, but perhaps this can only be tested in the matches. Overall, I think my form this year has been pretty good, but it's a pity that sometimes I couldn't laugh till the end in important matches.
Q: You are the player with the most MVP points in the LCK this year. What kind of personal state do you hope to show everyone in the upcoming matches?
Peyz : We will prepare well and show our competitive strength in a perfect manner.
Q: For your second Worlds, what are your expectations for this journey? Which bot lane duo do you think will be the most challenging opponent?
Peyz : This is also my second time at Worlds, coming to a new place to start this journey, so I am very excited and it feels great. All the bot lane players are very good, but the bot lane styles of the LPL and LCK regions are quite different, so I will be more cautious of these two regions.
Q: Many people consider you to be the favorites to win this year. How far do you think GEN can go, and how confident are you in winning your world championship trophy?
Peyz : We have won recent international tournaments, so people's expectations of us are higher. We will do our best in all matches and hope to develop in the direction we desire.
Q: How do you expect the upcoming match against WBG to go, and what do you think will be the key to winning against them?
Peyz : After the changes in the patch, everyone will change their priorities and preferences for champions, but as long as we prepare well, we have the confidence to win.
Q: In the bot lane matchups, are there any bot lane duos in the Swiss round that you think you must be cautious of, and who might be the biggest obstacle to your advancement? How do you feel about the overall bot lane matchups in the Swiss round?
Peyz : The bot lane duo that I am most cautious of might be BLG's bot lane duo. As for the overall style of the bot lanes in the Swiss round, we are very familiar with the LCK bot lane duos, but the LPL region's style is different, and we rarely play against them, so it might be relatively tricky to handle.
