"We will show the style of T1 as challengers."
Player Faker said, "Last year we participated in the World Championship as the 2nd seed, and this year we are participating as the 4th seed, which actually reduces our pressure. Although the time after the bubble race was very short, I recharged myself during the holiday and am ready to take on the challenge with a new mindset."
The Swiss round of the League of Legends World Championship that T1 is participating in will use version 14.18. Regarding this version, player Faker said, "I haven't watched the matches yet, nor have I practiced much, so it's too early to judge what impact this version will have on T1. But I think the hero pool for the mid lane in version 14.18 will become more diverse."
In May this year, player Faker became the first player to be inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame, and Mercedes also gifted player Faker a Mercedes-AMG SL63 4MATIC+. On the Hall of Fame media day, player Faker said that he would take a teammate who performed well in the summer season in the passenger seat.
When asked which teammate he would take for a test drive in the new car, player Faker smiled and replied, "I haven't driven the new car yet, I will take a T1 player who performs well at this World Championship for a test drive in the new car."
Player Faker also mentioned participating in the World Championship with the same lineup for two years and conveyed his determination to win the championship. Player Faker said, "Although there are many cases of participating in the World Championship with the same lineup for two consecutive years, there are not many cases of winning the championship in this process. We will base our discussions on last year's experience, focus on showing a good performance in this World Championship, and make every effort."
