Q: This question is for Chovy and Lehends. You both recently made it to the LCK Best Team. How do you feel about winning this award? Do you think you performed the best in the league this season?
Chovy : I don't know if I can confidently say that my performance this season has been the best. I feel like I can play even better. I have very high standards for myself, and I believe I can play even better.
Lehends : I'm very happy to be selected as the best support, but the upcoming matches are more important. Recently, I've felt that there are many areas where I need to improve. Honestly, I don't think I'm playing well right now.
Q: This question is for Zeus. It's surprising that Nasus has to be banned in the current version. In the match against HLE, you chose Olaf, and Doran chose Vladimir. Various champions are appearing in the top lane. Nasus even appeared in the mid lane, making the top-mid-jungle meta feel very chaotic. What do you think of the current version? How do you see the BP strategies around Nasus?
Zeus : Actually, Nasus was originally used to counter long-range champions, but its performance suddenly improved. From the perspective of top lane champions, there aren't any particularly strong champions right now, so various champions can appear. The proficiency of the player is very important.
Q: This question is for coaches DanDy and kkOma. Although every position is important, where do you think the key point of victory or defeat in the losers' bracket final lies?
Coach DanDy: I think all positions are important. Because T1's top-mid-jungle influence is very significant, the top-mid-jungle is even more important.
Coach kkOma: Since this is a team game, all positions are important, but I also think the top-mid-jungle is crucial in this losers' bracket final.
Q: The finals week will be held in Gyeongju. Many fans will come to watch the matches. Do the players have anything to say to the fans?
Peanut : I remember going to Gyeongju on a school trip. It's been a long time since I've been to Gyeongju, so I don't know what to expect, but it should be very refreshing. Besides the matches, there are many attractions here. I hope everyone comes to Gyeongju and visits the sights.
faker : There are many attractions in Gyeongju. I hope fans will come to watch our matches and also visit the sights in Gyeongju. We will also enjoy the matches happily.
Lehends : I also traveled to Gyeongju with friends and had a lot of fun memories. I hope everyone doesn't litter and leaves the venue with fun memories.
Q: This question is for coach kkOma. Before the start of the summer season, T1 chose HLE as the strongest contender for the championship on Media Day. Has your opinion changed now?
Coach kkOma: (laughs) At that time, it was player Gumayusi who chose HLE. If we go back to that time, I think all teams would choose GEN. I remember it was player Gumayusi who chose HLE. From the beginning, I thought GEN was stronger.
Q: This question is for player Lehends. Earlier, the coaches of HLE and T1 both said that the top-mid-jungle is more important. On the contrary, the current bottom lane meta is centered around Ziggs, Jhin, and Miss Fortune, rather than carry-type AD champions. These champions are more focused on team fights. Personally, I think this version doesn't highlight the bottom lane much, but only GEN's bottom lane often gets POG. What's the secret to GEN's bottom lane being so prominent?
Lehends : There's no secret. These are champions we've always used and are very good at. This is the result of communication between me and player Peyz. Recently, it is indeed a top-mid-jungle meta, but ultimately, how the jungle-support duo helps the laners and carries early on is very important. I think support is the most important in the current version.
Q: This question is for the three coaches. Recently, BP has been a topic of great interest, and each team's situation is different. Do you value the first pick on the blue side or the fifth pick on the red side more? Why?
Coach KIM: Since we only chose the blue side when selecting sides, of course, we think the first pick on the blue side is very good. If we can utilize the fifth pick on the red side effectively, that's also great, but recently the first pick on the blue side has been very good.
Coach kkOma: After the start of BO5, in the second and third games, depending on the flow of the game that day, we decide whether the first pick on the blue side or the fifth pick on the red side is more important. But I think it's more comfortable to draft a composition with the first pick on the blue side in the first game. I believe it varies depending on the situation.
Coach DanDy: Both the first pick on the blue side and the fifth pick on the red side have their own advantages. Occasionally, using the fifth pick on the red side to counter the opponent's composition can also yield good results. I think both are quite similar.
Q: This question is for the players of each team. You all have rich experience in finals. What do you think is the most important thing in the finals?
Zeus : I believe my experience in finals is rich. Personally, I think the team that is better prepared and stronger will win. Compared to external factors, preparation and strength are more important.
Lehends : Personally, I think the state has always been the most important. When the preparation doesn't work or there are mistakes during the game, the ability to mitigate losses is also very important.
Peanut : I also think the state is the most important. The finals are a stage where both sides showcase their ultimate strategies, and the ability to adapt flexibly is also very important.
Q: There are five days left until Saturday. How are you preparing and practicing with other teams? Can you tell us which teams are helping you with practice matches?
Coach DanDy: After the summer season ends, there is still the regional qualifier. We are practicing with teams preparing for the regional qualifier.
Coach KIM: Although there is still some time, the training time is not much. We can only train from Wednesday to Friday because there are also filming schedules. We don't have many practice matches left, so we must prepare well.
Coach kkOma: On the days we can practice, we will also practice with teams participating in the regional qualifier.
