2024 Esports World Cup First Round Matchups Determined: GEN vs. TES, BLG vs. T1

<p>Schedule: July 4th - July 7th</p>
<p>Format: The 8 teams will compete in a single elimination tournament, with the finals on July 7th being a Best of 5 (BO5), and all other matches being Best of 3 (BO3).</p>
<p>Matchup List: In the first round, BLG will face T1, whom they have met twice in MSI. TES will face MSI champions GEN. In addition, G2 will face FLY in the first round, and TL will face FNC.</p>

<p>The 8 teams will split a prize pool of $1 million, with the champion receiving $400,000 and the runner-up receiving $200,000. Additionally, the champion and runner-up will also earn 1,000 and 600 club points respectively.</p>
