Coach cvMax of KDF, who has achieved consecutive victories in the early summer season, said that the upcoming match against T1 is an opportunity to understand the team's condition and strength.

On June 19th, in the first round of the 2024 LCK Summer Season regular season, KDF defeated NS. After the match, in an interview, coach cvMax said, "It was an exciting match, although the situation was a bit precarious. We still have some areas to improve, but I'm glad that the players made good use of their advantages and achieved victory."

After winning three consecutive matches at the beginning of the season, KDF's next opponent will be T1. Coach cvMax commented that compared to GEN.G, which has been performing well recently, T1 is more aggressive. He said, "GEN.G has been performing well, but T1 is more aggressive in confrontations. If GEN.G becomes stronger by doing its own job well, then T1 will take advantage of opponents' mistakes and exploit them to the extent of violating human rights. If we can't cope well, everything will crumble. So, although we hope to win, I think this is a great opportunity to understand the current situation and stage of our team, so we will do our best."

Although the start is promising, KDF often faces a decline in team strength in the later stages of the season. The future trajectory of KDF behind this summer season is still unpredictable. Coach cvMax is well aware of this and explains, "It may be the same this time. In the latter half of the season, the matches will become more difficult. Our playstyle may be effective against lower-ranked teams, but it is difficult for us to defeat strong teams by compensating for the disadvantages in the laning phase through team fights and subsequent operations. This is not a problem that can be solved overnight. I think this summer will still be difficult, but we also look forward to opportunities and will do our best."

In the end of the interview, coach cvMax expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, "Thank you for your continuous support. You are our source of energy, and we will continue to do our best. Thank you very much."
