Lucid, in his debut season, has set ambitious goals. Xportsnews recently interviewed Lucid at the DK base.

Although Lucid is a rookie jungler making his LCK debut next year, he exudes confidence in his abilities and performance.

Describing himself as an aggressive, combat-oriented jungler, Lucid expressed a sense of responsibility, stating, "My predecessor, Canyon, performed remarkably well, and as the next-generation jungler, I feel the need to carry on that legacy."

Lucid, still getting accustomed to joining the main team, occasionally finds himself questioning if it's real, stating, "Sometimes I feel like I'm dreaming. I was nervous during my first practice match with the main team, wondering, 'Can I perform well?' After playing, I felt decent, not bad."

The 2024 DK roster comprises seasoned players like ShowMaker, Kingen, Aiming, and Kellin. When asked if a rookie jungler has a voice in the team, Lucid confidently remarked, "It's a similar challenge I faced in academy teams. Adaptation is key, and recently, I've adapted well enough to speak up."

Adapting to the professional stage is tough, especially for a rookie jungler in a league with formidable players like HLE's Peanut, GEN's Canyon, KDF's Cuzz, and T1's Oner. However, Lucid, echoing his prior confidence, stated, "Preparation before the season begins is crucial; I don't think there's anything to fear."

Lucid predicts DK, T1, GEN, HLE, and KT as the top teams in the 2024 LCK Spring Split playoffs. He aims to reach the finals in the Spring Split and clinch the championship in the Summer Split, aspiring to participate in the 2024 MSI and Worlds.

Signing a three-year contract akin to ShowMaker, Lucid expressed, "I consider DK a great team, a strong one. I wanted a long-term contract, and since ShowMaker signed for three years, I didn't hesitate to follow suit. My aim is to reach the Worlds finals and win, aspiring to become a legend for DK."

While DK's performance at this year's Worlds in Korea ended in disappointment, being eliminated in the Swiss rounds, Lucid commented, "We performed well as a team, but we were quickly eliminated; it's regrettable."

Lucid was deeply inspired by T1's Faker during the semi-finals against JDG, saying, "Watching that match, I was determined to become a player who could make such judgments and decisions like Faker."

Regarding the significant changes in League of Legends' new map and items, Lucid opined, "The jungle's impact might decrease significantly. Though I haven't played many games in the new version, I feel the overall influence and carry potential of the jungle role have decreased. It will be tougher for junglers, and other positions' influence has increased, so it's no longer just about the jungle difference."

In conclusion, Lucid acknowledged the high expectations and concerns as a new addition to the main team, vowing to prepare diligently to present his best performance, thanking everyone for their continuous support.
